Make-Up and Me

This will be my first time to do a blog about make-ups, and with that, I am giving you a brief background.  Ever since I could remember, but still I forgot when... I am just the typical face powder & lip balm girl.

When I started working, that was the time that I started to use lip & cheek tints, then eventually used a pencil eye liner.

To clarify things, I love make-up.. especially if it was done by a professional.  I usually love my transformation.. but just recently, we were taught how to do it by ourselves.. one tough job for me a!  Actually the company where I am working gave us (each female employee) a starter set of Revlon make-ups as well as free tutorial from the make-up artist of X-Factor Philippines.  What more can you ask for?!

Though there are a lot of essentials that are still missing, this set is a good starter kit for those who are just starting to explore their creativity in make-ups.

I will do a review on each item (nakikiuso lang) as well as my personal feedback in the (very) near future, as well as Top 10 Make-Up Must Haves.

Love Language

This entry is all about a group of guys.. and yes they are cute guys, who I have been following on YouTube for months now.  I don't even remember what is the very first video that I saw from them... but what really struck me is their ability to inspire others through this form of media.  They are brothers Jason and Eddie Lee and their friend Eric Lu.. who makes up THE JUBILEE PROJECT.  And their mission?

The Jubilee Project's mission is not only to inspire you but also
compel to take action and do good in your community.
-from The Jubilee Project website

And this November 2nd, they will be celebrating the 2nd anniversary of one of the most inspiring films they have done ..hey! everything they do is inspiring.  This short film teaches us to look beyond the physical beauty of a person.  And since it was a film to raise funds, the proceeds for this was for the American Society for Deaf Children.

Let me share to you.. LOVE LANGUAGE.

I have let some of my friends watch this video, and it really touched their hearts the same way it touches mine... and left me teary-eyed too!  And every time I lose faith in myself.. every time I forgot how to appreciate and love myself.. I always find a way to watch this video.. and the girl would constantly remind me to love myself more.  You know why? ...because I have always felt unloved.. but if you learn to love yourself.. then you would realize that there are people who loves you back.  Accept yourself and the world will accept you.. Love yourself and the world will love you back.

My interpretation may seem to be off from the message the video is trying to communicate.. but nonetheless.. just like many others, it has inspired me.  That's why I am sharing this to you..

..because as The Jubilee Project says.. "DOING GOOD IS CONTAGIOUS"

Maru Maru Mori Mori

I have been taking Nihongo classes since February.. and we are required to have a recital or a performance of what we have learned.. and honestly, until now, I haven't absorbed anything! haha!

Anyway, so we will try to memorize this children's song and hopefully, we would be able to do it...

The kiddos are soooo cute.. aren't they?  ...and hopefully we would also be as cute as them when we perform this song... nah!

Zumba Zumba!

What is Zumba? (Source : Wikipedia)

Zumba is a Colombian dance fitness program created by dancer and choreographer Alberto "Beto" Perez during the 1990s.

Zumba involves dance and aerobic elements.  Zumba's choreography incorporates hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue, mambo, martial arts, and some Bollywood and belly dance moves.  Squats and lunges are also included.

Me and my office mates tried doing Zumba for almost 2 hours... and after 7 songs, uh-oh! ZOMBIE NA SA PAGOD DAHIL SA ZUMBA. We are definitely tired... and soaking wet in our own sweat.  But it was definitely worth it!

Honestly, I really enjoy dancing, I am definitely loving the work-out but as for this session, it was really tiring.. you know why?  I haven't danced in months.. so my body was naninibago.  O well.. just like a new pair of shoes, I guess my body needs to break in again.. maybe next session it won't be that hard anymore.

Have to to take some pictures next time so that you'll see how tired and enjoyable this work-out is!

Wag Kang Tumigil

Masakit.. pero I don't have a choice but to support you.

Uwi yata kami ng Pangasinan by the end of this month, while I am asking my mom na magsimba kami sa Sto. Domingo for the La Naval De Manila.  Sto. Domingo Church holds a special place in my heart kase dyan kami lagi nagsisimba when I was still studying in Angelicum.  Maybe I should make a visit to Angelicum.. watchathink???

At oo nga pala.. dahil Oktubre na.. I will start with my NO rice, NO soda plus Hula diet.. hope everything works well.. hinahapo na kase ako sa pag-akyat ng hagdan e.. tsk!
