I was running late when Kuya Mariano picked me up at Caltex Paseo at around 8:20 am to go to St. Luke's Medical Center in Global City, Taguig for the Symposium on Labor Laws Critical to HR Practitioners. Luckily, I arrived on time after he dropped me off at around 9:15 am at the hospital lobby.
It was my first time to go to that prestigious and world class hospital--and I am in awe on how beautiful it is... imagine, stepping into the hospital which was named as one of the 25 Most Beautiful Hospitals in The World. The lobby was totally grand and it was like being in a five-star hotel abroad. It is equipped with the latest technology in medical world, health and wellness center, as well as the perks that you may need if you would be staying (i hope not because of illness) in the hospital for a period of time. The idea of having a National Bookstore in the building simply amazes me.
Unfortunately, we had to start at around 10:00 am, around 30 minutes delayed since the speakers were also stucked with the normal C5 traffic. I will have a separate entry on the items discussed since it was a day-long symposium with different topics so I better save it for another entry.
The seminar ended at around 5:10 pm and my dad picked me up and we went straight to Market Market since he and his officemates will be having a meeting, and I took the chance to roam around Market Market and Serendra during their meeting. We got home at around 10 pm and I was really tired to update my blog, that's why I am a day delayed on this post. :)
